"Nice place my only criticism is no soap provided in the shower and soap container at sink could not be moved. Also only one set of towels provided per person, which is not a problem, however nothing dried in the bathroom so towels had to be hung around the apartment to dry"

"If you bring a car into Porto with you this place would be exelent choice. There is no reception but someone from Sweet Porto team will meet you at the door or parking entrance around a corner. They will explain how things work, what to see, where to shop and eat. There is a full kitchen with necessary stuff for light cooking. Communication is easy though WhatsUp practically any time."

"We had the flat for a weekend for my family. The rear bedroom is very quiet. The decoration is beautiful and it’s a lovely flat. There is some noise in the front bedroom from traffic and people on the street at night. There are great facilities, a supermarket at the end of the street and many cafes. It’s close to the metro if you need it. "

We did have some initial check-in communication problems with the host due to having the wrong telephone number (we had to contact VRBO to get things straightened out), but after that got sorted out it was fine. "We were allowed an early checkin and Jeronimo was an excellent host giving us information and sights to see in Porto. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you might need and the location was perfect for touring the city. Although on a busy street apartment was very quiet for sleeping. "We stayed for 4 nights we liked the location, clean and breakfast options were good. Restaurant options were not so great. Staff were helpful and courteous. We have to take our luggage to our room ourselves. No coffee or tea kettle in the room. Bathroom sink was not great water would come outside make a mess. Wish they had microwave in the room. Alameda mall is just walkable from the hotel food options are great and better options than restaurant In hotel. We enjoyed Pans and Company sandwiches and passion fruit Pavlova in the food court."

Excellent stay in family home overlooking river

"We had an incredible stay here, highly recommend. Family home, staff are attentive and responsive and very helpful. Unbelievable views from the balcony overlooking the Douro river and the valley. Rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom was giant and parking behind a gated fence so very secure and safe. Great breakfast that comes included and nice lounge area to relax in over a glass of their welcome port. Overall, we loved our time and would absolutely be back."
