"this is a lovely hotel, well appointed and very comfortable, the one negative is there is no lift, which if you have luggage and are on the second floor, its tough. the restaurant is great, service a bit slow, but the breakfast offering is superb. there is electric charging in the car park A really lovely hotel"

"A very enjoyable and relaxing couple of days in this gorgeous spa hotel. Room was huge, bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious, spa had everything I needed, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Meeting Lady Hattie was the icing on the cake! "

"Whilst on this occasion things didn’t go as planned, I still couldn’t fault the staff on the way they sorted the issue quickly and generously. It was a trip away for my birthday and everyone went out of their way to make my stay memorable for all the right reasons. Amazing food, delightful surroundings, excellent staff, couldn’t fault our stay. A special shout out and thank you to Sonia, Dan, Lucy and the lovely lady with the glasses whose name I didn’t catch who greeted us for breakfast each morning; exceptional customer service accompanied by a welcoming smile and friendliness. "Lovely property but very much an old building so a lot of walking to rooms, restaurant and pool areas going up and down stairs. Not ideal if you have a pram or lots of luggage. Picturesque location with a pub next door. "
