"Afton Station Cottage is a compact house with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a sunporch without heat or cooling. The house is in the country but is close to the Blue Ridge Tunnel hike (easy) and Skyline Drive. The Afton area has many wineries, breweries and cider houses. The kitchen is well equipped and the king bedroom on the main floor is very comfortable. Stars are very visible with clear skies. We loved our visit to Afton Cottage."

"This house was perfect for our trip in many ways. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was perfectly stocked, the deck was beautiful and inviting. The house is in a great location to walk to town where there are many great restaurants to try. The property owner was helpful and thoughtful. The kitchen had all items necessary and the bathrooms had plenty of towels, toiletries. They even provided laundry detergent and dishwasher pods! So helpful! The sitting room and living room were comfortable...

"Very nice home with great extras like radiant heat flooring for the bathrooms gives the place a luxurious touch. Nice big kitchen and gorgeous Mountain views close to Veritas Winery and Blue Mountain Brewery. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful home. Peter and the management group were fantastic to work with. "

"We have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both rooms were immaculately clean! Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)"

"This was the perfect stay for what we needed (and more). I packed a ton of books and toys for our kids, but they didn't touch a single one. The house had a bin of toys, a bunch of games (we played candyland), stuffed animals in every room, and even a workout room we did a fun family workout in! The weather was just cold enough that we decided against s'mores, but we hung out by the water and promised the kids we'll be back when it's warmer.We also brought our dog, who we may not bring next time....
