"This log cabin is the perfect getaway for a couple or family looking for a retreat Homie Vacay! The accommodations are superb. The home is clean and fully stocked with necessities in the bathrooms and kitchen. The decor is lovely. The beds are comfortable. It’s away from the hustle and bustle. Very hospitable with farm raised eggs in the refrigerator. They were delicious! The domesticated pigs and goats around the home were friendly. We will definitely be back!"

"We were looking for a quiet, out in the country place to celebrate our anniversary and came across this quaint cabin just outside Monterey, VA. The cabin is cozy, and it worked well for just the two of us. We took advantage of the hot tub which was very well maintained. We also lit up the firepit on another evening while watching the moon rise over the hills. The cabin is just a few minutes from Monterey (which sits in the valley just below the cabin.) Monterey is a small but interesting town...

"Clearwater cabin is a great place to kickback and relax and enjoy the outdoors. The wrap around porch is wonderful to sit on and listen to the stream. We will have to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the fire pit and do some fishing."

"A great way to get away from the busyness of life and just listen to a babbling brook running into the Dry River. The Yurt was clean, well stocked, cozy, and just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend! "

"We loved our stay at Pine Cliffs. It's close to the river, in the middle of nature. The property is a little closer to the main road than expected, but that did not bother us - traffic was not busy at all. Lots of wonderful walks in the area - the kids really enjoyed it!"

The screened in deck was the prime spot to hang out even with the summer heat. I brought my dog and he loved the different trails and swimming in the river."

"We have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both rooms were immaculately clean! Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)"

"This cottage was in a charming location with a creek out back, lovely grounds, and total privacy. We stayed in the late fall; it must be even better in the spring or summer. It is the best-equipped -i.e., amenities - of any place we’ve ever stayed. Comfortably furnished. Nice appliances. Would happily return. "
