"Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."

"Great place to stay with grwt facilities. Lovely spacious room and easy check in. The only thing was that the check out time was incorrect on Expedia to the actual check out time so had to get out of the room earlier than planned. "

"The staff were amazing! Even though the building was old, I didn't mind as it felt authentic and provided a nice town experience. Everything was great, and the staff were very polite. The breakfast was excellent, and there was a fantastic live music experience!"

"Nice pub, our room was above bar so you could hear the bar below, it's a pub at the end of the day so you have to expect some noise. Room clean and tidy bed comfy shower good and hot, tea making facilities tea bags wont replenished. For the price of room it was value for money. Location good for the city center and railway station "

"Nice clean comfortable room but no tea spoons so a bit of a challenge to make a cup of tea! We arrived at 8.30pm and they had stopped food. However, they rustled us up a plate of chips :) "

"We attended a near by wedding, the accommodation was perfect for what we needed, the owners were friendly, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, the surrounding area was lovely just a shame we didn’t have more time to explore."
