"We had a lovely stay in Daisy. She was spacious and cosy and the hot tub is definitely a bonus. It was lovely and peaceful sitting on the veranda and having a morning coffee or evening wine. We didn’t try the local pub but there is one within walking distance. Really easy to get to (just 15 mins or so off the M5) and a great location for exploring South Devon. In our two days we visited Exmouth, Dartmouth and the beach at Blackpool Sands. The city of Exeter is just 10 mins away, so Daisy is also...

"Lovely modern, light and very comfortable accommodation throughout with pretty much everything you need although there was no washing machine. My personal preference would be a washing machine rather than a dish washer, but this is a very minor issue. I understand from the host that a washing machine is planned to be installed. "For context, holiday parks aren't my thing as a rule. That said, I'd revisit this chalet if I was coming back to the area, no issues. It's a good spot to visit this part of the coast and if you do want to use the holiday park facilities you couldn't be better placed, a very short walk from the pools, the shop and the bar/restaurant. The chalet has everything you need for your stay and is well looked after and comfy."

"Just nice nothing special ,nothing awful . We’re not given the single story chalet style property but a two bedroomed house . It clearly had not been used as it took the first day to warm up .had to wear coats. On discussion with reception they were adamant that this was what VRBO had booked us ?Pool , shop and leisure facilities very nice.,but read the small print as not free."

"We had a great weeks stay at the Thistledown lodge. The property was very clean and perfect for our arrival. The instructions/directions were clear and made for easy arrival. The lodge was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge had everything we required for a great stay. The hot tub was perfect as well, while the dog enjoyed her time in the garden (which was fully secure for her to roam about freely) The lodges location was a short walk to two great local pubs, which both served great food....
