"I wouldn’t consider this area safe and would not recommend as a honeymoon destination. It was very noisy at night time, constant horning etc. There were insects everywhere, including indoors, lizards, ants, worms etc. Mary was very kind and ensured we had breakfast however, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience due to the location being very noisy and the cleanliness. "My family and I had a relaxing time at Villa Heidi in August 2010. The manager, caretaker and maid were very warm and welcoming. The Villa itself is beautiful and spacious with 3 double bedrooms upstairs and 1 doube bedroom downstairs. The villa also has 3 big bathrooms (one downstairs). The swimming pool is about 5 feet deep all the way across but is kept clean by the caretaker. They were all very happy to help with anything. The Villa is about 8 km from Stone Town.
