"Avis mitigés. Nous avons réservé la maison avec piscine super bien le paradis ,propre même si les salle de bain auraient besoin d'un petit rafraichissement, le frigo et les bouteilles fraiches sont très agréable ,très peu de coupures d'eau et d'électricité. A savoir les matelas sont ultra durs c'est surprenant mais on dort très bien! il manque des parasols celui que nous avons eut tout le séjour était cassé.Nous sommes arrivés à 20h après 16h de vols, impossible de diner à l hôtel trop tard, ne...

"Our stay in Jambiani was amazing! We felt so welcome and accommodated for at the home. No complaints at all!"

"On site staff was amazing; owner and property manager not so much Owner had stated she was not on site - which we knew, however the basics weren't provided ( we checked in and left for the day; came back at night and still had no towels; toilet paper or soap) The reason for my disappointment is; basic services that I paid for were not met – such as: breakfast was sub par until the last day. "Lovely property in a quiet corner of Stonetown. Great swimming pool. Historic quality of hotel added a charming feel. Most rooms overlook the ocean. The amenities were complete and the room was very comfortable. Spend a little extra to get an outside balcony or verandah. The staff was wonderful and helpful. There are lots of restaurants nearby. I can't speak for the food at the on property restaurant since I had to leave early and skipped the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again on a Stonetown visit. "

"The hotel is an historic site in UNESCO world historic Stonetown. The shopping district and amazing restaurants are in the immediate area. The hotel is full-service and convenient to attractions around the island. It is on the beach and offers a good, full breakfast. The Gelato bar offered delicious, exotic choices. I really loved our stay!"

"Daniela was a fantastic and welcoming host. This historic, well appointed hotel will be a favorite memory and repeat visit. The food was delicious. The coffee and beds were some of the best I've had in Africa. Daniela and I had a great conversations and she arranged a prison island tour for us. It was my second trip to Stone Town and second tour. Last time it wasn't bad but this time it was a better experience. The pilot and your guide this time were far superior to the last prison island excursion. "

"My stay at Kwanza was amazing, stayed here for my honeymoon and my wife really loved the resort. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was a nice added feature. The only thing I could fault this hotel is the drainage system in the shower and sink is a bit slow to go down the drain other than that everything is 5 star. I would definitely stay here again and the staff were all amazing and accommodating. "
