"El Mirador was an excellent place to stay. The staff were excellent and the cabin was very nice and well stocked (full kitchen). The grounds are beautiful! It is a bit out of the way and isolated from other attractions but there are some restaurants that deliver from the town and it’s not too far of a drive from other destinations, if you have your own transportation (not walkable). All in all, a great stay. Would stay again. "

"We stayed at the property for 1 night primarily because we heard good reviews of their zip lines over waterfalls and thought it would be more convenient. Ziplines were definitely the highlight and our family really enjoyed it. The route up was quite the adventure as it was steep and very very rocky. The tour not only included ziplining but a dip in one of the pools at the base of a water fall (no towels) and a rappel down a waterfall. "For a small apartment, I was quite surprised to find it boasted 3 bedrooms. This little home featured everything I required for my stay--full kitchen, plus washing machine for my laundry. "My family stayed at the property and had a wonderful time. Arturo and Maribel are the caretakers and are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. They keep the property in fantastic shape and are extremely helpful. I highly recommend hiring Maribel to do the cooking, as she is amazing!! The pool is great, the beach was just fine for swimming.
