"Takes some knowledge about getting around in old French towns with their little streets which are not well signed and in the case of Le Puy have a lot of hills to maneuver. So there was a learning curve the 1st couple days. And parking is a challenge. But, in the end the challenges are well worth working through. The apartment is very nice, clean, feels fairly new. The bed is comfortable (and that is coming from my wife who is tough to please)."

"The apartment is great for one person or two who are not too tall (the loft has a low ceiling). It’s quite nicely appointed and bright, with French doors opening onto a Juliet balcony and letting in light and fresh air. Situated just across the street from the entries the medieval city, you can walk to everything from the apartment. A great place to stay while exploring Le Puy en Velay."

Heureusement, il restait des chalets disponibles… dans la partie prévue pour les hôtes d’un jour, donc : stationnement loin du chalet. Pas de 4G (ni de wifi, of course). "We loved the gite, it was clean, everything was well catered for and it had a great setting. Michel and Martine were great hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday but were around if we needed them. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would recommend to friends to stay there and we would gladly go back. The rugby matches we saw in St Etienne were great, fantastic atmosphere and great to watch with people from so many different countries attending."
