The old townscape continues. It was a wonderful town. However, the hotel was a little far from the town. There were no restaurants, so it was difficult to go out to eat.

I stayed in both the regular and the budget Ibis in Le Puy en Velay. Both were great. For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino.

Cet hôtel, en face de la gare, est très simple d'accès. Pour se rendre au centre de la vieille ville, il faut à peine 10 mn. Par contre, il faut descendre et monter, donc il vaut mieux avoir du souffle. Mais c'est ce qui fait le charme de la cité. Seul regret : Une borne de recharche électrique se trouve devant l'hôtel, mais elle n'accepte pas toutes les cartes...
