"Aside from the hotel being beautiful and having an old, classic charm to it, our stay was made much more pleasant by Giulia at the front desk. She took such good care of us and really made the experience much better. She helped us find restaurants to visit and gave us many suggestions for things to do. "

"This is a very traditional historic Swiss Hotel, located next to a bus station that is the end of the line (about a twenty minute scenic bus ride to St. Moritz). Because the hotel is very old, it has natural character and charm. That said, the bathrooms are modern. Our room had a balcony and nice view (but deck a bit creaky, due to age of planks - like I said, it is an old structure). The menu was very traditional Swiss, which was great if you're in the mood for that (which we were). The...

"The spa is downright false advertising. The hotel website has a whole page about the spa, featuring various steam rooms, etc, and saying the wellness area is open starting 8 in the morning. The reality is that all wellness facilities remained closed in the morning with the exception of a lukewarm bathtub sized whirlpool even after we complained to the hotel manager. Given that we picked this hotel because of the spa this was quite a turnoff. The room and the hotel bar were all right."
