"Great hotel in a stunning location. Staff were all accommodating, food was very good and the pool big enough to do laps and not a soul in it. All in all a great stay (was there for a week). Not much in the way of food other than the hotel unless you have a car, and even then a drive down to Tateshina area, Chino or Suwa (at least 20 mins). is required. There is a Lawson about 5 mins. away, by car, in Shirakaba-ko."
