"It was super noisy. But, thankfully the staff quickly moved us to another room which was a bit better - and it was "Hikonyan" themed, which was kinda hilarious. Super convenient location, which was what mattered most for us. And really good value. Oh, and try to Hikone beers they have - best beer in Japan. "

"Rooms were clean and tidy but a little on the small side. Service by staff was fantastic. We had some issues with getting taxis in the area due to lack of availability but the hotel manager - Takahiro Arima was generous enough to offer us a ride to the local restaurants and then pick us up afterwards (there are no restraunts/bars near the hotel). We want to extend our gratitude to Takahiro Arima who was always on hand to help. You need to be aware that taxis are really difficult to get even...
