Plenty around the train station for people to enjoy. Hikone castle was an easy 15 ish minute walk away. The view at the castle was simply breathtaking as it looks out over the city but also Lake Biwa and it was a beautiful day so the view was amazing and it’s HIGHLY worth the visit just for the view. Castle and grounds will look amazing soon coming into spring as they have a plum orchard as well as cherry blossoms. Highly recommend the hotel and Hikone."
