"The property was somewhat quirky, but in the ideal location to stay over while visiting the area for motocross. The owners were friendly and welcoming on arrival and at breakfast. One of the only things I can really pick a fault with is there was a really strong stale smoke smell in the bathroom which did hit you when opening the bathroom door, so could do with a freshen up and maybe an air freshener in there. "The rooms were notably clean and well-decorated, featuring a spacious shower and a large, practical vanity unit. The heating was effective during my stay. However, the front-facing rooms are subject to significant traffic noise, making it difficult to keep the windows open. Breakfast offered a limited selection, and the pre-packaged muffins were disappointingly expired. While the coffee was acceptable, it wasn't exceptional.
