There is not much height in the loft so you do have to crouch to get into bed. It was fine for our purpose. "This 39 acres is so delightful to explore. Everyday we would experience a morning walk to a pond and then further on to a lovely walk in the woods with the sound of the running creek. Our first evening there we got to see out the window a deer and rabbits enjoying their evening meal. This is one of the most restful places we have ever stayed. "This was ideal for two senior women. Two upstair bedrooms with large and comfortable beds, and each had its own closet and bathroom. Full size kitchen was well appointed, with a small but adequate dining area. Heating system worked well. The apartment is well lit from windows during the day and good lighting at night. Easy to park in front of and get into. "
