"Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine....

"The house was a great place to stay with lots of interesting places to visit in the area. A great deal of thought has been given to the layout of the property with three good sized bedrooms all with their own bathroom. The main room with its lovely views across the countryside was a great size with comfortable sitting and a very efficient wood burning stove. "Great cosí cottage - lots of from the doorstep walks. Great location close to pubs, restaurants. "

"The Nook is a lovely place located in a perfect position to explore Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. The quality of the furnishings and particularly the bed are very good. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider a further visit in the future. The only reason for four stars rather than five is due to the narrow spiral staircase which is quite steep. We could manage it but for some people it would be a real challenge."

"Very good for vacation rental. Some may find shower stalls too small; also some may find the modern fixtures in bathrooms and kitchen require some basic explanation/directions for use (i.e. too late when in shower and no glasses on to find out which faucett to use and how)."
