"I booked late and last minute through an app, but it was no problem. After over 5 hours of driving I was ready to relax and sleep and Bay Tree was perfect for this. I booked the single room with ensuite so had to climb to the top floor but did this with ease, even with three bags. The room was clean and wonderfully comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and set me up well for my drive home. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Hopefully in nicer weather so I could...

"We had a lovely welcome from Rupert who was an excellent host. Our room was spacious with everything we required - even fresh milk. Breakfast was perfect with fresh fruit and yogurt, cereal and a choice of cooked breakfasts which were cooked to perfection. My gluten free diet was catered for very well. Can highly recommend."

"Nice room, bathroom had both shower and bath but when we went to use bath there was no plug so could not use which was disappointing. Shower was not very powerful at all. Plenty of tea /coffee provided and bottles of water provided. Beds comfy, enjoyed good sleep. They don’t do food anymore, so have to go else where for dinner & breakfast. "

"Nikki & Eddie were the perfect hosts, taking obvious pride in keeping their B&B looking its best. There was even a complimentary upgrade of room when they heard it was the birthday celebration of one of us. Location superb. Off the bustling road but right on the beach. Pre-ordered breakfast for the following day and then settled down for the evening in a huge room with comfy seats, a big bed and a lovely bright and clean bathroom. Breakfast was just as promised, fresh, local and really tip top. Sat chatting with the hosts over breakfast watching the horse liveries turning out for the morning. Very very pleasant. "

"Hotel was great, although currently undergoing a refit in the bar & restaurant, service was very attentive. Parking is an issue as car park was full but there is a larger public car park, £13 per 24hrs, would be nice if, as a hotel resident they would off set this as the hotel car park is so small and can only fit 6-7 cars, so that would have been a nice gesture as a guest. food was great, but very small portions, I ordered the king scallops for starters only to have two scallops which was really disappointing, especially for the price!! overall a let down by the food, the service was great just a shame the portions were so small for the price you are expected to pay. "
