"My two friends and I stayed here for a weekend girls trip and were so happy with this place! Everything seemed clean and well prepared and the beds were comfortable with plenty of extra linens. The only issue we ran into was when we arrived, our code for the door didn’t work, so we called the property owner who was luckily home upstairs and could open the property for us. "They didn’t go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I know that many places have a binder of things to do nearby and instructions for prepping to leave. Some places also give a bottle of wine or cookies as a welcome gift. This place had a poorly flushing toilet and the flooring was in rough shape. Some planks need to be replaced because you’ll get your sock caught in one. There wasn’t any dish soap. It was very meh but it seemed clean and was a cheap place to crash for the night. "

"Amanda was very good about responding to questions. The place was clean, well organized and the location is good because even though you are close to King street and all the restaurants and shopping, you aren't too close, which was important to us. Getting to the Capitol Mall was an easy train ride from a station that was close as well. Even had parking covered. Excellent!"

"This is a beautiful home in a nice little neighborhood right outside of downtown Washington DC. We travelled here for a week long vacation with parents and my teenage sons. The host hadn't told us ANYTHING about when she planned to send us the key information, so when it was 2 min after check in time, and I still hadn't heard ANYTHING, I panicked. "The room was clean and spacious and the staff were super friendly. But I was hoping the room was quieter but you can still hear traffic and construction probably because the windows are pretty old. The blinds and windows could be cleaner too. The Internet speed was slow. Having said all above, I would still rate it 4 out of 5. The neighborhood is nice and relatively close to everything."
