"This was our 2nd time staying, and the area is excellent, the rooms are perfect for a small group of people who enjoy antique style and cottage esque houses. Not to mention the service is always awesome. it snowed about 6 inches and the owner came out and shoveled during and after the storm as well as kept up with salting. Over all great time"

"Loved the location and the supplies in the apartment (kitchen supplies, towels, extra bedding). I was pleasantly surprised to see a washer & dryer- I just wish it was in the listing so we would've known to bring fewer clothes. The beds were also very high compared to the photo, and we're short so it was a struggle to climb up into bed. My kids also had trouble getting into bed until they figured out how to climb the frame. I would still give this rental 5 stars easily. Also we would happily go...

"We had a wonderful time staying here. The neighborhood is very walkable, the building is beautiful. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. The local restaurants are great, Grubhub for the nights when we just wanted to stay in. The only negative was that the family upstairs sounds like a herd of buffalo, stomping around from 6am to well after 10pm. "

"We enjoyed the quiet location, yet it was close enough to the lower town to walk to everything we wanted to see. The suite was well-furnished and comfortable. The breakfast items were provided in very generous amounts. All the directions and information provided were easy to follow and use."

"Wonderful experience! The location is perfect and it’s a beautiful, well equipped home. What made this stay superb were the hosts. Hands down the best ever. Howard & Jasmine offered every detail you can imagine and many we never considered. (Rain jackets!) We were difficult guests — my husband ignored instructions on the door keypads, sending them multiple alerts. My cooking set off the fire alarm. We forgot to tell them when we left. "Our stay was better than I expected. The home was clean and user friendly. The second bed that was listed was actually a blow-up queen mattress but there was plenty of bedding for it. The property was in a nice area with plenty of easy parking on the street. The location gave easy access to the Metro station and downtown DC. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly."

"Nice value hotel in Pentagon City area. Is one-mile - walking distance from Fashion Center. Or hotel shuttle takes you to Metro entrance in front of Fashion Center and/or DCA. Nice rooms, hallways, bed. On-site restaurant food is sub-par. But nice bar area is lot of fun."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase Pavilion

Very nice hotel in a good location

"I wanted a hotel with a pool, and with breakfast included. The pool was a good size and temperature, and the hot tub was soothing after a long day of walking. Embassy Suites serves the best hotel breakfasts I have had, with made to order omelets, and a good selection of other items. The coffee is very good. The dining area is in a big, open atrium, which was a little chilly. The location was excellent in that I could get to a Metro Station and a Whole Foods via the underground parking garage. There are restaurants nearby, too. I left my car in the garage for four nights, which cost me $100. I took the Metro in to DC to do my sightseeing. "
