"We went to stay with friends for a couple of nights to catch up and see more friends nearby. We had a wonderful time. Amy made us feel really welcome through her messages in advance and we really appreciated the welcome basket of goodies she had left for us. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and everything we needed. The log fired hot tub was a real treat and we barely left the cottage the whole time, except to walk round the locks and back. "We enjoyed our stay at Robin's Nest while visiting family in the area. The owners were quick to respond to an issue with the heating and were very helpful. The bungalow was warm and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen; the washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful. We found the double bed slightly on the small side."

"We stayed for a weekend during a very hot spell. The cottage and gardens were delightful (great for playing hide and seek with the grandkids!) and the hosts welcoming. Be aware that it is on the flightpath for landing/take-off from Manchester airport so can be noisy - but on the upside, the kids enjoyed watching the planes! Co-op in the village for groceries, good fish & chips and local pubs for eating out. Would be helpful to have this information/contact details in the cottage. Would recommend...

"We had the most amazing time in the stables in mellor such a lovely family who own the cottage. Just what we needed a long break we will definitely return i would also recommend the spread eagle pub amazing food and staff go the extra mile also lovely views and places for a nice walk"

"The property is very nice, clean and tidy that makes 100% the same as the pictures. It has all needed utensils and crockery so making dinner after a day. There is also a charcoal BBQ but we did not use. The host couples are very helpful. When we accidently turned off the boiler, they came and checked on us almost immediately.
