Our dog sledding adventure was the highlight of our vacation!! Being a dog sled racing fan and having the privilege to sled behind a team of athletes that just completed the Iditarod! A 1000 mile race for a second place finish with Top Musher Matt Hall! We had the the opportunity to meet Matt‘s wife and musher, Elke who recently proved herself a forced to be reckoned with in a race this past winter! These are top-notch folks! "I was hesitant to stay in a dry cabin, but we extended our trip and all "regular" cabins were already booked. Brenda is a super host, making sure we were comfortable and had all we needed.
