"On our arrival date, the owner told us that they have misread our arrival date and thought we would arrive one day later, the property was over booked, so they led us to the next property, Sunset Villa, that property Sunset Villa was a downgrade from Blue Lagoon Villa which we have originally booked on. After half an hour lying on the big bed, I had 9 bug bites all over my body, on my arms, my legs and my back, could not sleep, so I had to switch to the smaller bed. We would not recommend this...

"We are a family of 4 and had a wonderful stay in this villa. Pool was great and lots of comfortable loungers and places to sit. Spacious inside and great to have all en suite bathrooms. Owner was great at communicating and very responsive to messages. Highly recommended!"

"We rented this amazing beautiful house for 1 month. In total we were 5 adults and 4 children. The house feels very spacious; The four bedrooms (all equiped with AC) are all large and have good storage (very good for us who stayed for so long) A living room with modern TV and DVD, and two full bathrooms. "The compact but well maintained gardens and the swimming pool meant we spent more time outside than in our holiday villa!. The bedooms are very comfortable while the kitchen is one of the best equipped we have ever seen! Not that we did any cooking! The property is very private, and we were delighted at the variety of birds and colourful lizards and geckos seen in the grounds! The nearby restaurants are varied and excellent, hence no cooking, and there are two supermarkets within a short drive....

"We travel to Mauritius twice a year and usually stay by the beach however, this time we decided to hopefully find a place that would be our own space. Palmnest was just perfect. Lots of space in the house and the outside space was perfect with a large veranda area for eating or just chilling out with a great view of the sea. "Lovely villa - as described. Francesca, the maid was delightful and couldn’t be more helpful - she did our washing and cooked a couple of meals as well as keeping the villa nice and clean. Clivy, the property manager was on hand at all times and answered any questions immediately as well as organising transport requirements. Would highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon."
