"Excellent last minute stay! Booked this bc the bridge was closed & we could not cross. Had plenty of parking (at last minute) for a truck & 30 ft trailer!! Clean, breakfast was great, pool was great. Only negative comment i have is they made me & my 2 year old wait till 10am before opening the pool. They claimed they needed to add chemicals... we waited by the door & in the lobby for 40 minutes & they did nothing.... Just wanted us to wait i guess. "

"We booked this place after our kids’ away basketball game where we got caught in a storm and just needed an overnight. Didn’t realize it was a motel, so as we all arrived you could see the hesitation from the families-but it was a pleasant surprise that the beds were comfy, rooms warm & clean-it served the purpose and we didn’t have the breakfast since there were great options nearby. Staff was friendly, I was satisfied overall."

"Having stayed at multiple hotels in Petoskey in the winter, we really enjoyed the Apple Tree Inn. The front desk was so nice and helpful during check-in, and when a problem arose they were quick to fix it. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was quite good."
