The rooms & grounds are immaculately clean & well taken care of. It was so relaxing sitting in front of the campfires on the beach & it never felt crowded because there are seven to choose from. The hotel crew started the campfires at 7pm every evening & added wood throughout the evening until 10pm. They even passed out s’more kits to every person! It was so relaxing sitting in front of the campfire & taking in the beauty of the Mackinac Bridge all lit up & we could also see Mackinac Island in the distance. We had a room with a balcony facing the lake. We didn’t use the pool but if it’s anything like the rooms & grounds I’m sure it is maintained very well. This will be the only place we stay when visiting Mackinaw City!

The property was great, the rooms with a balcony view were beautiful. Had a great view of rhe bridge from your balcony really liked that. The rooms were clean, the bed was a little hard for what we were use to, but we has a great time.

WI-FI was down. Room was nicely appointed. Staff was fabulous. Best view of mackinaw bridge. Nightly some-mores on the beach. Rocky beach would be tough for swimming.

Overall it was great. We did not like the check out policy of having to sign a waiver for them to remove our bags from our room if we did not check out on time - offensive and unbelievable that they would ask that.

The room had one light in the main space, the sink drain had an odor, the bathroom fan did not work, and the hotel phone did not work, the hotel did not have any extra blankets, and room keys had to be reprogrammed twice, lots of spiders and webs outside of the room and all over the windows, no closet of place to hang things, the room had a musty smell that got worse throughout our stay.

Check in wasn't very pleasant. You will need shoes to get in the water due to stones. Nice they light bonfires every night at 7pm! Breakfast nothing special. Very clean place.
