The town of Alexandria was very cute, most things were closing for the season but we did still get to experience the boat tour, do some shopping and eat at a few local places. There is even a sweet baby Recteq pellet grill, which is the brand I have at my home and cottage. I felt right at home. The only minor issue we had was the well water in the home. "Wow, wow and wow. We just spent a few days in this amazing home. It is everything that is advertised and way, way more. The attention to details in every corner is second to none. As soon as we got through the door, we felt welcomed and at home. Fresh cut flowers in the dining room table and chocolate over the pillows. Amazingly clean throughout. Soft robes in every bedroom. High end cleaning supplies in the bathroom and high end cutleries in the kitchen. It had everything we needed and more....

"This home is wonderful. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. My daughters were fighting over who was going to sleep in the "secret nook" on the top floor. Both bathrooms were large and well equipped. The kitchen / living room area was huge and made for a perfect area to congregate with family.
