"I booked Essex Resort & Spa at the last minute because its convenient location for my visit purpose. This is the first hotel that provided robes for pool and outdoor hot tub. Super nice to use to go out to the hot tub in freezing night and more so coming out of it. Shows how carefully they thought about guest comfort. It was exhilarating after 200 mile drive up from Boston to attend my grandson's state Lego robotics championship. I will be sure stay here again when I am in the area. King...

"This is a beautiful inn with fun history. Our room was lovely but very, very warm. At check in we were advised on the central heating and how the third floor gets warm. We were told to turn on the AC. Though the AC was set to 66, the room stayed very warm. If you are there in the winter, and don’t like sleeping hot, I suggest a lower floor. Location was great and morning tea/coffee in the lobby was nice."
