"Good location but very little parking available so advisable to pay for on site parking. Had difficulty initially accessing property with passcode and had to enter when another tenant entered. On entry to the apartment there was an overpowering smell of (i think) curry and i had to open windows and spray room freshener to get rid of it . The carpets had some stains but they were clean and these could easily be covered up with rugs. The balcony was huge and the views were great. I would...

"Visited with my daughter for Christmas and the place was just as described and perfect for us. Great communication with our host. The unit was very clean and comfortable and it was lovely that there was wine, croissants and various treats for us to eat. Nice quiet area. Parking out front was easy and we were about 5-10 minutes drive to the beach. You would need a car to go to cafes or beach. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the relaxing holiday!!"

"My 2 sisters, my daughter and I loved the property. It has been well renovated with an extension added for the kitchen, living area, deck and bathroom. Location is excellent with it only a few minutes walk to Jetty Road for restaurants and shops. The beach is very close for swimming and walks. The tram station is a few minutes walk on Jetty Road if you wish to go into Adelaide City. We had a welcome bowl of fruit, bread and milk. Checking in was easy. Cannot recommend highly enough. "Wonderful apartment in a great location. Walking distance to everywhere or just sit on the balcony and people watch! The beach is busy and beautiful. The apartment has been appointed beautifully and thoughtfully. They have have thought of everything. After 8 nights on the road this accommodation is superior."

"We enjoyed our four night stay at Ashton retreat. We found it a welcoming place to relax and enjoy the established extensive gardens around the retreat.The little touches made it special-a full fruit bowl, fresh milk , a variety of breakfast cereals, fresh coffees and a variety of teas etc. Kate and Andy were very welcoming - - thank you for the delicious homemade berry jam and fresh homegrown rhubarb. We are looking forward to returning in the near future."
