"Lovely place to stay. Our room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful with a good choice of food. The hotel is close to the village where there are lots of restaurants and about a mile and half from Bowness"

"The Crow Park is in a row of similar hotels and bed & breakfasts. There are stairs to get up to these properties and more stairs to get up to the rooms, but we didn't mind as we had a lovely view out our window from the top of the hotel. Our main issue was that the room was quite warm--lucky us! That meant that we had perfect weather! The front desk provided us with a small fan, which helped! "It was the most beautiful place to stay. Old worldly charm, delicious cooked breakfast and a little plate with cakes when we got back from a day out. There was a cozy open fire to sit and read by and our hostess was friendly and helpful. Would love to return one day."

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Ellerbrook House. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable and had lovely extra touches with free toiletries and tea/coffee. The breakfasts were lovely and there was a lot of choice. Wouldn’t hesitate recommending this place for a stay in Windermere. Town was a 5 min walk away with a good range of restaurants too. Pleasure to meet you Rob and Becky. "Hit really lucky weather wise it was a beautiful weekend, B&B is in excellent location just a stones throw from Ambleside town we checked in efficiently with Jo who is really warm and welcoming - room was comfortable and well presented with everything we needed. Spent 2 lovely days around Ambleside with a great breakfast to set us up each day. Would recommend and return."

"An excellent two night stay. Cannot find a fault."

"Wonderful place to stop while hiking the coast to coast trail. Didn't realize you had to walk around the building to check in just off the parking lot, since we didn't arrive by car. Steph was so welcoming and did a load of wash for us for a small donation in their cup on the bar. A fire alarm went off at 450 am bolting us out of bed. Turned out to be nothing but I think I remember reading about this happening before in someone's write up. Dinner and breakfast was good! "

"Such a lovely friendly couple who are managing this property. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was excellent. So convenient right next to the town. A short stroll takes you to the heart of the dining and shopping area. Would definitely go back again..."

"Excellent stay, could do with the air-conditioning on hot days and nights but they have electric fan."

"The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. We loved the decor and the apartment was so clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Onsite parking was a big bonus. It was a short walk to Bowness pier with plenty of shops and places to eat on the way. Excellent communication with the host. We would certainly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be returning. "Stayed for 1 night, easy check in and out, apartment was up to a good standard could do with some slippers for the bathroom but otherwise brilliant. Apartment 31 was in a good location for an easy walk down to the pier. Overall a great stay and would come back. "

Wonderful stay

"Came especially for the spa which was excellent, very modern, plenty to do and not too overcrowded. The new part of the hotel was very modern and complimented the older part. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on a corner in the old part and was bug and comfortable and even has a partial lake view which was lovely. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was in a lovely big bright room. We will definitely be coming back. "
