"What an incredible treasure! Stayed with my 2 kids (5 & 8) and they were shocked and amazed with how incredible this mansion was! Tastefully decorated with a FABULOUS breakfast, highly recommend. Restaurant was closed for our visit they recommended a pizzeria with a woodfire oven (6eur Pizzas that were amazing). I would go far out of my way to go back here! Book it today! "

"Beautifully restored castle. Lots of attention to detail with furnishings and decor. etc. Atmospheric. Limited dinner menu very expensive and not very good. Breakfast was good. Very surprised that there is no infornation anywere about the castle. The most unpleasant problem was that the car park is NOT on site it is way below the castle and access is by a very steep set of steps. Difficult with suitcases and for anyone elderly or with mobility problems. Also car park is not secure as it is out...

"Amazing place. We were greeted by the super-friendly staff even before we entered the hotel. We were looking with our kids at their cows in the pasture, and the owner(?) came out and gave our kids food to feed the cows. It was a great start, and it only got better from there. The room was very spacious and clean, the food was amazing, and the location is perfect for hiking in the area. It was simply a wonderful experience. "

I took this one from the road leading to Dondena (Dondennaz), a couple of kilometres before arriving there. In the right upper corner the Monte Dela (not really sure). In the far distance you can see the horrible power line pylons coming from the Super-Phénix, the nuclear power station in France which was shut down in 1997 (so the monsters are now completely useless).
