"The room was next to a busy road, but I was able to sleep well because of tiredness. Anyone walking the Via Francigena should be tired enough to sleep through an explosion. 😇 It’s only 9 mins walk from the train station (bus-substitute trains run often.) "Overall this was exactly what I expected and wanted. A bit basic but then at the price its fantastic value for money. I have no complaints. Its about a 15 minute drive from the Valtounenche lift which gets you up to the entire Cervinia / Zermatt range. The restaurant attached was good and had friendly staff."

"Mixed feeling about this. The room was somewhat rundown and really cold. The lights on the landing were on a timer and it was often very dark. Staff were very friendly but the reception desk was often unmanned with no-one to help. For the low price was good but basic."

"Stayed here one night whilst touring the alps. Hotel in small village. Room comfortable and clean with balcony looking onto the most fantastic view. Lovely lady owner who served excellent continental breakfast. The hotel over the road did brilliant pizzas as our hotel didn't seem to do evening meals. Village very quiet. Would definitely recommend staying here."

I took this one from the road leading to Dondena (Dondennaz), a couple of kilometres before arriving there. In the right upper corner the Monte Dela (not really sure). In the far distance you can see the horrible power line pylons coming from the Super-Phénix, the nuclear power station in France which was shut down in 1997 (so the monsters are now completely useless).
