"The hotel is very suitable for anyone travelling from the UK by road to southern France or the Alps. The drive from Calais to Chalons-en-Champagne is less than 3 hours. The town is not too far from the motorway south. There is very well priced fuel available. The hotel is located in a very pleasant square. Whereas the hotel does not have a dining room (except for breakfast) there are several restaurants and bars in the square. The hotel has a limited amount of parking, but there is parking...

" We refuse to spend the night in this place. Not only was it not as advertised, it was filthy, and quite likely dangerous. We did not feel safe, and promptly left. Prostitutes and dunks were outside the entrance, and it was obvious that this is the type of hotel a prostitute takes a customer for an hour or so. I cannot believe this was even listed on Travelocity. "
