"The cabin was quiet. There were no neighbors around during our trip. We watched the deer walk eat in the evening time. The kitchen had everything we needed for 2 dinners. The fireplace was big with plenty of wood. I am happy the owners rent this place for 2 night stays. Checking in and out was not complicated. Owners were easy to contact. We would stay here again. "

"We absolutely love visiting this property because of its seclusion (our dog loves to explore) and the cleanliness!!! We had nearly half of our crew this trip and STILL wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else. I didn’t realize they had other properties in Chama so we will have to check those out our next trip! "Overall the property was very nice. Good location, nice and spacious and plenty of room for the dogs to run around outside. The wrap around porch was great for relaxing outside in the afternoon. Inside had everything you’d need. Very cute layout and amenities, plenty of blankets and fans to adjust temp and comfort level. The only thing I will say is that we did not find it to be very close to much river access, and we ended up driving out each day to a spot we normally fish at, but this wasn’t a problem at all, just not exactly close to river access like advertised. We would definitly stay here again! "

"Comfortable, well supplied, aesthetic, great dining room area for food, games, gathering. Plenty of bathrooms. We xc ski, snow shoe at the pass, also walk to Sargents Refuge or hike or ski there. Then relax at the house with friends. "
