"Overall, good location but the attention to detail was lacking and the pool table is a hot mess. There were cobwebs in the light fixtures in the kitchen, lots of light switches to try to figure out what goes to what, lack of towels, empty body wash container in one bathroom, fireplace didn't work and we had to have someone come out and they took quite a while to get there. "Quaint mountain cabin overlooking the river and lights of the small mountain village. Within easy drive to town, hiking areas. An hour from Durango. Very quiet and beautiful views. Had problems with mice or would have rated higher - scratching noises at night and feces on stairs during stay. Experienced healthcare due to a riding accident and very quality care. VIP worked with us to extend our stay which was very helpful due to circumstances."

"I don’t think there is enough space to list all of the great qualities of this property!! First of all the cabin is amazing! It was just the right size for the two of us and had everything we could possibly need. It is beautifully built with the perfect mix of modern meets nature. I don’t think you could get closer to the Conejos River without being IN it!! The sounds, the smells and the scenery exceeded expectations! We even heard, and then saw, a bull elk rounding up his cows one morning....

"My family of four , along with my mother and sister stayed here and had plenty of room for everyone. It was in a wonderful location that seemed secluded although it was close to town. The house was beautiful, fully stocked , and there was plenty of room for the kids to play outside. The kids even found a child’s treehouse out back. Would definitely stay here again . "

"I thought the house might be noisy being so close to town, but it wasn't! We all slept well in comfy beds, and the blackout shades kept rooms as dark as we wanted in the mornings. We liked the ample towels, plenty of dinnerware, nice pots and pans, and interesting artwork. We could walk to a nice coffee shop in the morning. Bear droppings in the yard got us excited, but we never did see one. Very interesting art work."
