"Booked this as a treat as it was my partners 60th birthday as well as NYE. Everything from start to finish was beyond our expectation. All staff were very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful hotel and location. "

"We loved our stay at Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa. Loved being able to use the spa facilities and the room was modern and cosy with a selection of teas, coffees and shortbread. The hotel is good walking distance into Newquay town and the route via the golf course is lovely. The restaurant offers great views of Fistral Beach. They have a cute photo booth just by the elevator which was a nice touch. Only thing I would say is the heating was whacked up for winter so the room was boiling but luckily there was a fan in the wardrobe! Parking for over 24hrs wasn’t an issue for us on the main road in front of the hotel, but you may have more difficulty during peak season months. "

"Was a absolutely lovley stay will definitely be going back room was nice food was amazing pool is realy clean the only down thing was it said 24hour room service but when we called down they said the porter said no other than that it was a good stay we are jist gunna take food with us ie snacks "

"The hotel sits in about the best location in Newquay, overlooking the town and the sea. The hotel itself is an imposing older building and is absolutely gorgeous inside, the room I had was a great size with a very comfortable bed. All the staff are very friendly and amazing with nothing too much trouble for them to sort out. This is the first time I've stayed here but it won't be the last."

"I visited this hotel on business recently and I was surprised how nice it was. They had made a huge effort with the decor going up the stairs and also so really noticed all the Christmas decorations which made it feel extremely festive and seasonal. The staff were very friendly and chatty and were also extremely attentive and professional. Prices of food were on the expensive side however it was of very very good quality. There were great cooked options on the breakfast menu also. The rooms were very clean and very cosey, it had a great shower and good automatic lights in the bathroom at night. They provided coffee, tea & bottles of water; I approved of the water bottles. The bed was also possibly the comfiest hotel bed I’ve slept on. In terms of the facilities, the pool was great and so was the jacuzzi, the sauna was a great addition too, with a pool side bar and a very good looking girl working behind it who was nice and chatty. The gym was very small, and it wouldn’t really fit anymore than 10 people. However it had what you needed for a quick workout and it was good that it was pool side. Parking was easy and free which was great. Overall it was a great hotel, one of the best I’ve visited in a while. Would recommend."
