"Property is literally connected to the train station. At night there are a lot of homeless people that camp out there right on the train station steps, literally a few feet from the front door of the hotel. You have to get buzzed into the hotel, understandably. It might be a little bit awkward for someone traveling alone.... on a high note. It's very easy to get to public transportation and the rooms are nice."

"Hotel is right on Bay of Naples. Room had a big terrace with view on sea. One queen bed and two twins. Comfortable beds. Shower had great water pressure. Very good breakfast. If you have a car, convenient to visit Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius. Outdoor pools closed but there is indoor pool, so bring a swimsuit. Would stay again. "

"Overall the hotel was good. Naples can be a bit sketchy, but the hotel was situated in a safe (and clean) area with a great view. Staff were great, and the included breakfast was good. The floor in our room felt a bit sticky so that wasn't the best, but otherwise the room was fairly clean and had everything we needed."

"The Rex Lifestyle Hotel was clean and well organised The reception staff were very friendly and really helpful, they recommended several restaurants to us and they were great excellent food and service. We also booked a taxi to the airport at reception which was very cheap and on time. The continental breakfast was ok reasonable choice of food and plenty of coffee. The only down side was the shower in our room which was quite small, overall a good stay "

"It was a quiet time of year so I am nit picking. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke English and were very helpful indeed. "Haven in busy Napoli. Friendly, helpful staff and top spec clean rooms. Easy road access but at least fifteen minutes walk/funicular to get to cafes, shops etc. Book spa access slot in advance (free to guests), had it all to ourselves for 45 mins, which is nice, but they only switch it on as per bookings, so steam room and jacuzzi were not very warm when we used it."

I had a hard time getting to the hotel by public transportation (not sure if it was due to the sunday schedule but the nearby bus 001 E was hard to find). "This hotel surprised me. I am an interior designer from the states so I have high standards for interiors but had intended on staying at this property out of convenience. I booked it last minute due to its proximity to the train station and port. The lobby is tastefully done, the front desk staff was extremely welcoming and helpful in recommending dinner options. Check in process was a breeze and I was very pleased with the room accommodations, size, and bathroom. It’s not in the greatest area of town but I did feel safe walking to grab a bite to eat. Would stay again for this same intended purpose. "

"The hotel interior was lovely with an old world feel but with modern amenities. I was only there for one night but would stay there again if passing through Naples. Any negatives about the property are the negatives of Naples itself (the square in front on the hotel was strewn with cigarette butts, garbage and graffiti) and beyond the hotel's control. Barbara at the front desk was lovely and recommended an excellent breakfast spot for that morning as well as assisting us with taxis and airport transfers. We left too early the next morning to try out their breakfast. The accessibility of the hotel is, unfortunately, poor. There are seven steps up to the front desk and the elevator, though the elevator is large enough to fit a standard wheelchair. Other thing to be aware of: the hotel is in a pedestrian zone so taxis or other transportation may not be able to drop off/pick up from the hotel directly depending on their permits or the time of day. Again, not a big deal to walk a block or two, unless you have mobility issues."

"Very clean and quiet property. Beds were incredibly comfortable.The restaurant and bar was expensive, but well worth it because the meal that I had was absolutely delicious. The free breakfast buffet had a large variety of food and was top quality. Also, if you are renting a car in Naples you will very quickly realize that parking spots are at a premium and very difficult to find so underground parking offered by this establishment is convenient. However it does cost 20 euros per day. Overall I enjoyed my 4 night stay here and would highly recommend it."
