"I booked this hotel based on Expedia reviews but when I was actually staying there I was absolutely disappointed. The room looked clean but there was dirt on the walls. The bathroom tiles and sink were yellow. The worst was the incessant crowing of a cockerel throughout the day and night as the hotel was located next to a house which kept chickens! "Conveniently located near the shopping street of Malioboro. Hotel is generally well maintained. However the door doesn’t shut completely and I have to ensure that the door is completely shut each time I enter/leave the room. The train and traffic sounds goes on in the middle of the night. I was awoken but fortunately return to sleep quite easily, thanks to the comfortable bed. Will be a problem for light sleepers. "

"The hotel was central and clean. The pool area was nice although we did not get to enjoy it much since we were busy during the day and the pool shut down at 6pm. It would have been nice if the pool stayed open later so we could use it in the evening."

"Basic room. Sheets and walls had a number of dirt stains (having stayed in other similar Indonesian hotels before, this seems kinda common), also the room had a number of ants here and there. However this was made up by the great service and location. There are a number of eateries right outside the hotel, also Malioboro Mall was like maybe a minute's walk away. Extremely convenient. Would stay again. "
