"We booked the stay and paid the agreed price. The evening before arriving, I rec'd several emails to inform me of an issue with VRBO (fake) and told to pay via apple pay the amount due or they would cancel the reservation. This went on for hours as I called VRBO and confirmed that they in fact were paid and told not to send any money. We then proceeded to cancel the reservation and had to pivot on where to stay. "

Directly on Lake Hartwell, wooded and secluded, but still close to everything.

"We enjoyed our stay! The long table was perfect for a large group to eat and hang out. There was plenty of space for our large party. Instructions were great. Owner responded quickly when we thought we had a problem with one of the faucets. Turned out to be user error. Will be back. "

"The property is fabulous. It's located just west of Greenville (a beautiful city) on the banks of the Saluda river. It is a privately-owned tiny home in a group of other homes in the Saluda Outdoor River Co (closed for the season). The ambience is perfect - string lights draped between trees, fire pits, outdoor seating areas and of course the view is fabulous. The home has everything you need - plus wine! Lots of thoughtful touches. "

"The property was cute and the owner was friendly and messaged me back right away. However the first night the neighbors behind were pulling a trailer up and down the driveway from midnight to about 2am so it was very difficult to sleep. Overall it was a good experience. "

"Our family all got together at this house on Keowee Lake to celebrate Thanksgiving. The whole place was spotless when we arrived, and we were pleased to see how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans, and a variety of cooking utensils and electric appliances. Even though it was cool in November, we still enjoyed sitting out on the deck. We will certainly come back here again, although probably when the weather is a little warmer. The lake is beautiful, but in November, it was too cold...

"My daughter and I, plus our two tiny dogs, had a wonderfully quiet and relaxing long weekend. The house is tiny but completely met our needs. The bed and living room furniture are comfy. We had one rainy day, but the roomy screened porch allowed us to enjoy the gentle rain. This is our 2nd stay at this house. We’d love to come back soon!"

"We needed a nice getaway while also attending a Clemson football game and this was it! The house was very comfortable- big kitchen and den area to relax in. The bedrooms were nice with good pillows. Our mornings were spent on the dock drinking coffee and enjoying the quiet. At night we went out on the dock to look at all the stars. Beautiful. We didn't get to use the fire pit, but it was well stocked. Clemson is just under an hour away but the drive was easy and not much traffic. We...
