"This is a new Marriott property, modern and clean. I appreciated the little kitchenette area in the room with basic dishes, sink, mini fridge, and microwave. The evening reception was a plus, and there is speciality tea in the lobby in the late evening. Breakfast is also lovely with some atypical hotel offerings such as scones. I'd red the reviews so I was prepared for the $10 per night parking charge. Also, just beyond the hotel, there is currently road construction going on. It was not bothersome, but the road is closed to through traffic. I would definitely stay at Element again. Recommended. "

"Five star rating for this hotel. Casual style furnished theme in rooms with comfortable quality bedding. Rooms look down on the Deschutes River. Bathrooms in king rooms need an upgrade to tile showers from the cheap looking fiberglass tub shower units. Wonderful helpful hotel staff and top tier restaurant serving elevated American comfort food. centrally located near downtown and along the river. "
