"I really enjoyed my stay at Inez hostel. It is a cosy small place, so perfect for recovering from traveling. It Inez is super nice and helpful and made my trip unforgettable. She showed me around, we met her friends, had an amazing lunch at the beach and even went to a original Karimunjawa wedding and saw the sunset on a small fisherman's hut out in the ocean! "tomo and his wife are very helpful,can communicate in english with tomo easily. i stayed in the cheaper room out the back,there are nicer ones out the front . 10 minutes walk to borobudur and some nice walks out in the rice fields"

Great Stay in Semarang

"The property is a bit old, however there are benefits with older ones. Room was larger than newer hotels, but most importantly it was clean, staff were very polite and friendly, and the location is best. The lobby was also spacious and very welcoming. "

"We liked the Colonial architecture, and the size of our rooms was very spacious. Great views of the rice fields, its lush greenery landscapes. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Nice variety for us. Also the staff were very welcoming and it had a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. "

The Royal Surakarta Heritage - Handwritten Collection

"Impressive heritage decor and artefacts layered upon a modern construction that is airy. Spacious room and feature swimming pool. Easy rickshaw distance to both palaces and to batik museum. Good value. Best nights’s sleep with high quality towels etc… Staff all very helpful. "
