"My family and I spent 5 nights at the beautiful Sungate Estate. It was as perfect of a stay as I could have asked for. Yani and Marco were extraordinary hosts, they were extremely responsive, helpful, and did not hesitate to recommend us activities and contacts to enjoy the Island of Eleuthera!! The house was a perfect space for us. Plenty of room for 8 people to explore the beach out front, snorkel the crystal clear waters, relax on the sundeck, and truly disconnect from the world.I cannot recommend this property enough for anyone who may be toying with the idea of an Eleuthera getaway.Thanks Yani and Marco!!!"

"We were a like a pair of castaways on a private island -- swimming, reading, napping, cooking, star gazing. Absolute perfection. "

"Words can not describe how fantastic Villa de Palma was for our family! The setting makes you feel like the only people on earth. We had the ocean as our backdrop: sunbathing poolside, snorkeling at the coral reef and having the most beautiful pink tinted sand to walk on morning and night. Bonus for us was the full moon the night before we had to return home. If there were any negatives- they weren’t due to any fault of the owners. Being on the ocean means tides wash up quite a bit of plastic debris. It is disheartening how much is located over the entire island. Total disclosure- each building has 2 full bedrooms. The main house has a queen size fold out sofa, the cottage has 2 single fold outs both in the common rooms. We had originally reserved just the main house & pool house but had 5 adult family units. A quick message to the owner got us access to the cottage with minimal effort and reasonable cost. Our concierge Maria was also quick to respond to all of our questions and minor concerns. We all have memories for a lifetime!"

"The property is well cared for and tidy. It's very quiet and relaxing. The studio is very comfortable and the couch is comfortable (that's not always the case in some places). Kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed to make great meals with the local offerings. The lovely, trash free beach is usually vacant so it feels like your own private island.The only thing I wish is that a couple small palms be removed as there is no ocean view at all. There are approximately 200 trees on the property and their absence would not affect the ambiance at all.All in all, a lovely trip and I do recommend this studio."

"First time to Kataluma. Vacationed with our son, daughter & their families. What a spectacular week! . The house was beautiful, lots of room. The infinity pool was our hang out spot for the week, awesome ocean views! Flew into GHB, rented cars from Kean Stubbs. With the house located in the central part of the island it's easier and less of a drive to get to sights in the north and the south. The Atlantic ocean provided a beautiful view and crashing waves. It was a little rough with the rocks in front of the house, but that didn't stop us from kayaking! Played lots of pool in the evenings. Ten minutes away was 10 Bay Beach which was great for snorkeling. Crystal clear water and all shades of blue. Did a full day boat excursion with Captain Rob, lots of awesome adventures!! Took a day & went north to Harbour Island for horseback riding, stopped at Queen's Bath & Glass Window Bridge. If you've never been to Eleuthera before, be prepared for beach roads that will hold your attention while driving, plus remembering to drive on the left side of the road. Before the trip, Matthew Simon was very helpful and responsive. Property management & staff were very friendly, and quick to respond during our stay. We hired Andrew Demeritte to cook dinner a couple of nights. Having never done that before, we were extremely pleased with how it turned out! Would highly recommend this rental lots of space, very comfortable & relaxing!"
