"First time VRBO customer. Process for booking was easy, description of property was accurate. Communication with host was superb. Any issues we had were quickly taken care of. It was as you would expect a cabin to be: minimalistic. All flatware, cooking and BBQ utensils, pot, pan and baking sheet were provided. Pots are sized for cabins. If you intend to cook large group meals bring your own. Very close to water, kayaks & life vests available. Paddle boat available for use. "

"Had a wonderful stay in peak autumn with our young kids. The cottage felt like home. I loved that the property has a beautiful view on the hill but a nice flat spot of lawn for the kids to run on at the lake. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat around the island. Quiet area, very peaceful. Clean comfortable living quarters. Thank you for sharing your cottage!"

"This cozy bungalow worked perfect for our family of 5 as we had friends on the lake and were able to keep our boat at their home. Very clean, smelled fresh when we arrived. The kids loved the loft and 2/3 slept up there comfortably. The 'waterfront' was more like a channel (definitely not swimmable) but my kids enjoyed the wildlife and catching frogs. I liked sitting out in the morning having my cup of coffee. Wound rent again 😉 Thank you"

"We stayed here to fish and enjoy some downtime with my daughter and father and it was wonderful. The cottage is cozy and very well stocked with things you’d need for a stay without having to worry! It was a very quiet area and has direct access to the river, which we loved. It was great for my father who is getting older and doesn’t get around as well as he used to. "Great location for the event we came for in Grand Rapids! Although it wasn’t an issue for us, the twin beds listed were air mattresses that you have to blow up with a supplied pump. There were 3 twin-size air mattresses. We had a great stay!"
