"I had a great 9 night stay at the cabanas. Athena and Tristin were amazing hosts!!! The location is perfect, breakfast was delicious, and the property is well taken care of. Athena gave thoughtful recommendations and taught me a lot about Belizean culture. I truly left feeling like family. Unfortunately, this was more a place to stay if you're looking for a very basic stay where you want to rough it. The room is super hot, the bed is uncomfortable and when walking back at night there isn't proper lighting. I don't recommend it to female solo travellers. I did not feel safe.
