"Resort lived up to its 4 star rating overall. Staff service was 5 star. It does sit near the Northern end of the developed area: pavement ends not far past the property gates. We expected better beaches, but that is not the scene in that part of Belize. The action leans towards snorkeling or dive and fishing. The wind was unusually strong and prevented any of those. But the resort itself was a fine place to hang, which we did. Also, Coco Beach does not try to extract every penny from their guests through nonsense fees. Chairs, towels, umbrellas all part of the room fee."

"I love, love, love this place. The staff was outstanding and once you get the hang of the boat schedule to the other side it’s smooth sailing. If you are not good at figuring out the schedule for the boat, the staff will take you on a golf cart to The Split to catch a ferry. It’s not too far either and we walked several times. Just give them a little notice. My only issue with the place was that the bathroom is open to the room on top. We would like a little more privacy in that area. "

"Room was a bit small, amenities were simple, but everything else about this place was just right. Choice of two pools. Waterfront but can't swim in the water. A good distance from the busy and congested part of San Pedro... not too close and not too far either."

"It was clean with friendly staff. The pool area was small but nice with a good combination of sun and shade. Not too much beach but enough to sit around and enjoy the view. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. Waling along the beach was great. A very busy area with lots of golf carts, but that cant really be avoided as its the main form of transportation "
