"I just loved the family cabins!! Great concept with the bedrooms on each side of the toilet and shower. They are older cabins that have been kept up well. The bed was very comfortable. Would only recommend a towel hanger by each of the sinks in the bedrooms. Only down side was the weather, rain and flooding. Left a day early but plan on a return visit!"

"We had a lovely, peaceful stay at this house. The deck was amazing, the views were spectacular. We enjoyed waking up to see deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds and more. The fall color and fog rising off the water just added to the beauty. It was close enough to Mammoth Cave that we made trips on two separate days quite easily. The kitchen enabled us to make several meals. I will say one of the showers was a little on the tight side for my husband, who is over six feet, but it was manageable....

"We had a great stay here while out sightseeing with our kids and dog! Lake is beautiful and our kids loved the yard. Would be awesome to use in the summer when lake is in full swing. "

"Overall, a fun stay. The location is beautiful and not a bad drive to the local tourist attractions. Fully stocked kitchen and perfect sleeping accommodations for families. The outdoor corn hole was fun for our family.The listing is accurate and you can see it’s an older property. The floors are pretty creaky and for a light sleeper might be an issue but this would not preclude us from staying here again. Host was responsive and respectful. "
