"A wonderful property in such a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards with views of Mount Etna and the village of Castiglione perched on a hillside. We loved having access to the swimming pool, the rooms are a good size and the food and wine was excellent. "A very personal experience as the hosts are simply lovely. The whole place is very cozy. Especially the dining and pool area are inviting places. The quality of food is just amazing. Definitely one of the best places we ever stayed at. You can't make a mistake by staying here."

"Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. It is located about 40 minutes north of the airport, close to an autostrada exit, and is convenient for visiting places such as Mt. Etna, Taormina, and Messina."

"We only booked this hotel for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. It is in a gorgeous vineyard and is a great place for families and couples- there is a beautiful pool but what stands out besides a great Room with luscious sheets and views looking at amy Etna is the hospitality of the staff. "We picked this agritourismo hotel for its proximity to Catania and the airport - as well as its value and good reviews. It is in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find off the A19 because it is well signposted all the way. It is 20 minutes from the airport IF there is no traffic, but it took us 45 minutes because the approach to the airport is terribly confusing and there were long lines of cars. So allow yourself plenty of time. It is an excellent hotel in a rural setting, but so close...

"A real agriturismo, with 1000 olive trees and 2000 orange trees. It's a well kept place, well maintained garden, a big swimming pool. Host speaks very good English. Everyone is very nice and heplfull in every way you need. We stayed here for two nights and used it as a base to visit Etna, Siracuza and of course also Gryfindor pub, which is just 20 minutes ahead. "

"There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience."
