"Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms had everything we needed. (Fair warning to British tourists - there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, but it is easily available at the request at the lobby seating area.) Breakfast was very generous and catered to all - omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. 30 mins easy walk to Colosseum, or quick ride in public transport. 20 mins walk from Termini (bus/train depo). We were very well looked after and enjoyed our stay."

"We have used this hotel on every trip, six times, it is not the Hilton and does not have those costs but, the Hilton does not have the architecture, the Hilton is also centuries younger, it is a hotel with 1st class staff, all of whom are interested in your contentment during your stay, all go out of their way to to help with any requests so, a 1st class stay is always had."

"First, let me say that my interactions with staff were minimal and uneventful. My biggest issue with service is their decision not to refund my reservation after deciding minutes later we wouldn’t stay due to the conditions we weren’t aware of (didn’t even enter one unit as the code didn’t work). Advertised pictures are definitely misleading, completely different than our experience upon arrival. The outside is full of graffiti, trash, foul odors and unhomed individuals. Unfortunately not...

"This should be listed as a hostel and not a hotel. The bed is horrible, you can feel every spring in the mattress. It says no smoking but our room smelled very intensely of cigarettes as well as a jar of butts on the window seal. We were provided no towels and when asked for a towel the host argued that we had them in the room. The bathroom is across the hall so not very “private” and there is zero hot water. I got a partial refund for how horrible our stay was. Do not recommend!"

"Even though it was away from the city center, we could walk to P. Toglliati station to take the suburban train. The lot across has a full service grocery store to get take away foods. The inhouse restaurant was very good. And the breakfast was excellent with many choices."
