"We stayed for 2 nights here. We were grateful for the wider stairs to lug our luggage up to the 2nd floor. Would recommend again, in the center of things, easy to walk to restaurants and sights. "my most favorite hotel room on this trip! steps from the Duomo, but in the room you'd never know - it was quiet and serene. The room itself was huge and gorgeous, with brick ceiling that had curved eaves. a soaking tub on a stone platform was a special treat. beware - it is up 3 floors with no elevator, but was worth it to us"

"It is a walk up, there is a lift in the building but not for guest. If you are traveling with big luggages, prepare to carry them yourself. Everything else met our expectation. Location is great too."
