"It is really a superb hotel. In Matera to be able to sleep in a room "cave" is quite special. The room #5 is large and had everything we needed except a big mirror. The only one was a small square one in the open bathroom above the lavabo and the lighthening was more romantic then useful there! I know it is not the same in every room as every room has a special design and decoration. The reception and the breakfast room are also beautiful. We loved the big terrasse where we could enjoy the sun...

The listing also said a free breakfast would be provided, which was not offered. "The location is good, at the main walking streets. As bus will stop at north and south, hotel is in the middle. It's a perfect location. It takes around 20 mins bus from railway station or CIMINO terminals. Just walking distance to old town. Room is new and clean, breakfast is serving at a cafe nearby. Bread and croissant is good taste. Coffee is good too. Staff is nice, help a lot and can give some help even at the night time. I will stay again if I travel Taranto again."

"We found La Maison extremely convenient midway between Bari airport and our cruise port in Taranto. It is a family establishment, very clean and safe. Die Apartments sind groß und wir hatten auch eine wunderschöne große Loggia, die wir sehr genossen haben. Allerdings sind die Apartments nicht besonders schön eingerichtet, und bei uns kam auch der Putz von der Schlafzimmerwand. Dafür fand ich das Doppelbett sehr bequem, allerdings waren die Schlafsofa selbst für die Kinder...
